It all began in June of 2016 when we found out about the amazing opportunity that Fund for Teachers (FFT) could provide us. Imagine pursuing an experience in another country that you are passionate about, and then getting to do it for free! FFT has given us a way to give back to our students and community. So from June 2016 until January 2017, we put in countless hours to get our proposal just right. FFT is not going to award us thousands of dollars to go on a vacation - no way! They want to see what our learning journey will bring back to our students. Then on April 5, 2017, it was revealed to us that we won the Fellowship and our dream of getting real experience is now a reality!
So here we are, creating a blog for all to see! Please, come with us on our journey and investigate the world at a time of hatred and evil, but also hope and bravery. We all need to educate ourselves so something like this never happens again.
